4.4.1.1 Early Failure Process
Applicable products: Kyocera Imaging equipment (Kyocera ECOSYS, Kyocera TASKalfa, CopyStar CS series).
KYOCERA Document Solutions America will provide customer support, or direct customers to an authorized Kyocera dealer for troubleshooting, repair, or to replace a Kyocera device if it fails within 3 years of the installation date.

4.4.2.1 Product Upgradability
Applicable products: Kyocera Imaging equipment (Kyocera ECOSYS, Kyocera TASKalfa, CopyStar CS series).
If a device upgrade is required, please contact an Authorized KYOCERA dealer from where the device was originally purchased, rented, or serviced. Customers may also visit KYOCERA’s website and refer to the model-specific page for upgrade information.
4.4.3.1 Spare Parts
Kyocera parts are applicable to maintenance for at least 7 years after the product is discontinued in order to maintain optimal device performance.
4.5.4.1 Default to automatic duplex printing
Applicable products: Kyocera Imaging equipment (Kyocera ECOSYS, Kyocera TASKalfa, CopyStar CS series).
With our EPEAT products, automatic duplex printing is the default setting when installing the printer driver.

Kyocera’s Recycling Program provides a convenient disposal solution for environmentally-conscious customers that want to recycle their Kyocera toner and waste containers, designated Kyocera products and Kyocera product & consumable packaging, but are unable to do so do so within their local community.
Kyocera strongly encourages local recycling when possible, and environmentally-friendly packaging to limit the burden on the environment.
All Kyocera manufactured components mentioned above may now be shipped to the Kyocera Recycle Center in Hebron, Kentucky for recycling:

Product and Packaging Shipments are required to be sent via:
Common Ground Carrier, such as UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, SAIA, FedEx Freight, etc.
Precautions for Packing and Shipping:

4.9.1.1 Allow use of general office paper with renewable content, recycled content, and that is chlorine-free
KYOCERA devices are compatible with general office paper made from renewable content, pre and post- consumer recycled content as well as chlorine-free paper.
4.9.2.1 Preventing the use of Non-OEM cartridges and non-OEM containers
Kyocera business devices will not prevent the use of non-genuine toner containers. However, Kyocera strongly recommends that customers use only genuine Kyocera toner to ensure superior productivity, reliability and image quality.
